Chambers Memorial Hall, at Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, South India was built in 1902 by our former missionary Rev. David Downie, with the funds given by the family of Chambers. Later after his death it was renamed as Downie Memorial Hall, on the request of the Chambers Family. Initially it was built for the English worship for the missionaries and later in ‘60s Telugu worship was started and ever since both English and Telugu services are continuing in the same sanctuary.

The original building was built to accommodate 300 people and later with some modifications about 400 people could adjust in the building. A number of  Pastors and Lay leaders rendered their valuable services for the growth of the church and we praise God for them.
